Stunning

This is without doubt one of the best songs on NG. The dynamic, constantly varying instruments prevent the tune from getting boring. The beat is super bouncy and makes me want to keep listening. The bassline is very stripped back but powerful at the same time. The levels are almost perfect. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because in my honest opinion, the intro is to long. I recommend a 55 second intro, drop with the bouncy beat, a break, then a drop with a more typical dubstep beat. Quality song mate, keeping churning choons! :D

Thanks a lot man, glad to hear a good honest review

Great overall

Well structured track and very good overall, but the beat is not very strong in the way that the snare is very average. The reese sounds are amazing but need to be detuned a bit more. The intro and break in this song remid me very much of a Noisia track, and the switch down to dubstep is creative, unexpected, and introduces much better reese sounds and pitch rates. I stunning track, but in need of some different snares and fine tuning of your VST's. Bravo! :P

I...JUST...

CANT...STOP...DANCING! Love the bouncy groove you got going here, love the use of stereo channels, little bit concerned about the lack of filters and effects added to everything else, but I give this a 10 simply because it made me bounce! :d Oh wait, you didn't make the beat yourself, sorry, I have to give you an 8! Don't be so lazy next time! EPIC CHOON!

Breathtaking

I am writing this review as I listen...

This songt is just breathtaking. The drums are so crisp. And the repeated vocals work so well. The second layer of piano flows seamlessly over the first. Perfect structure, I'd like to see a version with a classic, full beat in the future! Not saying that the beat sucks, quite the opposite ;) 10/10 5/5

Holy Shit!

That suprised the hell outta me! Thanks for the upload :D

Hehe

Drumstep FTW!

Firstdrumstep track I've heard on Newgrounds, which is always a good thing :D Has a very Noisia feel to it, with the distorted bass. One of the best tracks on NG for sure! Peace :D

Needs improvement :S

Where is the snare!?!?! Dubstep MUST have a snare to drive the song along :) The bass sounds a little too...simple for my liking. Try using a VST like Albino or Massive next time, and if you already are, add multiple oscillators and distort your bass! Good for a first effort! :D

EthosProphecy responds:

i used a 3xosc for the bass. i may be a bit to simple but whatever.
im using a Ohmside distortion vst on my bass.
the snare is there, just cant really hear it, there is also snare in the kick.
I will put more in my next work.

thanks for the comment

Near faultless!

I feel you on the CPU usage! I had to abandon some projects because it made me want to smash the computer whenever I played the song through! Anyway, the song is awesome :D It has a very "Bar 9" feel to it. I give it a 9/10 because I think the drums could have been a bit more full. Sick tune!

Kind of a mix between the two...

The bassline sinks behind the beat, as with old dubstep tunes, but it lacks that reggae vibe that got dubstep noticed. Needs more "step" to it, if you get what I mean :) Fuckin awesome tune though! You are a legend! 10/10 5/5

Force

Jeez

I see you were experimenting, but don't post bare-boned stuff like this on NG. And bitcrusher Must yes MUST have another layer underneath it or it sounds like shit! Take my advice and make some sick beats!
